Running for homes and land rights in Nepal

I continue to support Habitat for humanity because I believe in their vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

This year, I'm raising money to help provide safe homes and secure land rights for Dalit women in Nepal. And I need your help.

I'll be running the Copenhagen marathon in 2025. Along the way, I'll participate in:

  • the 'Rubjerg Knude Half Marathon' in Denmark (August 2024)
  • the 10-mile 'Dam tot Damloop' in the Netherlands (September 2024)
  • the 'Eindhoven Half Marathon' in the Netherlands (October 2024)

Why Nepal needs your help

Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world. Half of its population lives in substandard housing, and more than 20% live below the poverty line. The Dalit community, once known as the "untouchables," faces severe discrimination and lives in unsafe, unhealthy conditions. Many Dalit families lack basic necessities like clean water and electricity, as well as legal rights to their land, which puts them at constant risk of eviction.

Join me in making a difference

Please donate today, and help build a home and provide a Dalit family with the security and stability they need and deserve. Each home costs 4,000 euros ($4,500) to build. So any small amount that you give will be appreciated.

And thanks, as always for your support. We can do great things when we do them together,

Jill
