HEINEKEN UK supports Habitat for Humanity to help Ukrainian refugees

HEINEKEN UK Colleagues
from €100,000 (66%)

We invite HEINEKEN UK colleagues to support the HEINEKEN global fundraising efforts for Habitat for Humanity to help Ukrainian refugees find safety and shelter in the neighbouring countries of Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. Many of the families arriving at the border are single headed, as many Ukrainian parents are choosing to have one parent remain in the country to join the resistance. Globally, HEINEKEN has donated an initial €300,000 to Habitat for Humanity and HEINEKEN UK is supporting this with an additional £50,000 donation. Initially this money will help to provide emergency shelter, including food, water, lighting, heating, and electricity to families who have fled the Ukraine and as a next step Habitat will use the funding in finding more permanent solutions where needed.

Every donation counts, even the smallest ones, and all donations from UK colleagues will be matched by HEINEKEN UK at the end of the fundraising period.

€450 18-05-2022 | 09:35 It was my 10 year old daughter who had the idea to cut her hair for a good cause. Aim was to collect money for the children in Ukraine and for the 'Hair wish' organisation. By letting people pay per cm for her hair taken off, she collected €900 for children/people who need help and 50% went to support Ukrainian refugees.
